Spring is approaching, and with it the promise of fresh local fruits and vegetables, including those we grow in our own plot at the Kesher Garden at the Stroum Jewish Community Center. Two important Jewish holidays occur over the next month: Purim (March 15/16), for which we’ll be offering our house-baked hamantaschen all this week, and Passover, which this year runs from April 14-22 (see the article on our Passover cooking class, below).
